SriLankan Airlines resumes flights to the Russian capital, Moscow. The airline’s new service will operate a weekly scheduled flight between Colombo’s Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) and Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport (DME) from 30th July 2021. Accordingly, SriLankan would commence its flights to Russia every Friday using an Airbus A330 configured for 269 economy and 28 business class seats. The Ministry of Civil Aviation has put out quarantine guidelines for those travelling to Andaman and Nicobar Islands. According to the guidelines, all passengers need to carry RT-PCR test report issued from an ICMR-approved labs. In addition to this, Rapid Antigen test will be conducted on all incoming passengers. Jyotiraditya Scindia, the newly-sworn-in Union Civil Aviation Minister, today shared a “good news” for the people of his home state, Madhya Pradesh. The state, he said, will have eight new flights from July 16 under the UDAN scheme, which is focused on connecting smaller airports with the rest of the country. The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will resume the services of the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Tejas Express from August 7. “It is informed that services of train no. 82901182902, ADI-MMCT-ADI Ahmadabad Mumbai Tejas Express will be restored w.e.f. August 07, 2021,” IRCTC said. The train will run four days a week viz, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, it said. Qatar is to resume issuing family and tourist entry visas starting on July 12, in line with new travel and return policies and based on health ministry COVID-19 recommendations, the interior ministry said.
