flydubai, the Dubai based airline, has announced the start of a twice-weekly service to Ankara Esenboga International Airport (ESB) from 29 July. Ankara will become flydubai’s second destination in Turkey after Istanbul (IST) which is currently served with a daily flight. flydubai also added two destinations in Turkey to its seasonal summer schedule. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday said the state will open its tourism sector only after it provides Covid-19 vaccines to 100 per cent of its population, at least the first dose. European Union governments agreed on Wednesday to add the United States to their list of countries from which they will allow non-essential travel, EU diplomats said. Ambassadors from the EU’s 27 countries approved the addition of the United States and five other countries at a meeting on Wednesday, with the change to take effect in the coming days.
