Emaar Hospitality is planning to open new properties in the UAE and the Middle East and North Africa region this year and next as part of a continued recovery in international tourism from the Covid-19 pandemic. Emirates and Royal Air Maroc have signed a partnership deal to develop new routes, according to a top executive of the Dubai-based carrier. Speaking to Arab News at the Arabian Travel Market event in Dubai, Emirates Chief Commercial Officer Adnan Kazim revealed the two airlines will offer more travel choices and connections between Dubai and Casablanca. “We just signed now with Royal Air Maroc, just an hour ago, with a full-fledged cooperation on the codeshare,” he told Arab News. According to the Financial Express, Ritesh Agarwal led travel-tech firm OYO has agreed to acquire Europe-based vacation rental company ‘Direct Booker’, the company said in a statement Monday. The deal has been completed at an acquisition price of over INR 40 crore ( or USD 5.5 million), the company added. Through the acquisition, OYO will expand its footprint in Europe, and specifically in Croatia, it said.
