Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on June 7 said flights will start landing at the Greenfield International Airport at Mopa in North Goa from September 1. India has emerged as Sri Lanka’s top inbound tourist market in May, even as there is a slump in the cumulative arrivals of holiday-makers due to the ongoing economic and political situation in the country, the tourism authority said on Tuesday. Air Canada is expecting a demand for flights between Canada and the Asia-Pacific to recover to a near pre-pandemic level by December next year, a top regional executive said on Saturday, reports Reuters.
