Effective 21, travellers to Israel no longer require Covid testing. The requirement to present a negative RT-PCR test prior to departure, complete RT-PCR test upon arrival followed by isolation has also been removed. Thailand’s Centre of COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) has approved the simplified Thailand Pass registration and entry rules for international arrivals, effective June 1, 2022. Foreign nationals are still required to apply for a Thailand Pass (via https://tp.consular.go.th/), but will only need to provide passport details, vaccination, and an USD 10,000 health insurance policy. Akasa Air’s launch of services is likely to be delayed further as the airline is expected to receive its first aircraft only in June or July, according to a senior DGCA official.
