India and Canada have discussed the expansion of the bilateral air service agreement that will allow more flights between the two countries. GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited announced on Wednesday that it had received permission to operate Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport for a further period of 30 years. In a statement, the company confirmed the receipt of a letter of confirmation from the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) extending the term of the December 20, 2004, concession agreement for operating the airport for a further period from March 23, 2038, up to March 22, 2068.
