The Department of Tourism of Rajasthan Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR) for organising the Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart (RDTM) 2022, said an official release. Finalising code-share agreement with IndiGo Australia’s national airline Qantas will fly non-stop from Bengaluru to Sydney, and is finalising a code-share partnership with IndiGo to make travel between India and Australia easier. From September 14, Qantas will operate four weekly return flights between Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru and Sydney’s Kingsford Smith International Airport with its wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft. Jet Airways is gearing up to take to Indian skies by October 2022, its CEO Sanjiv Kapoor said. The Kalrock-Jalan consortium, the winning bidder for bankrupt Jet Airways, is also planning two-class facilities for flyers, according to reports. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on Monday introducing visa restrictions for citizens of countries that Moscow deems “unfriendly” in response to sanctions over Ukraine.
