The domestic aviation industry is expected to report a net loss of INR 25,000-26,000 crore this fiscal with elevated jet fuel prices and fare caps continuing to pose a major challenge for the airlines’ profitability, domestic rating agency ICRA said on Thursday. In view of the significant decline in number of COVID-19 cases across the country, the Andaman and Nicobar administration decided that fully vaccinated people are exempted from the requirement of carrying RT-PCR negative test report to enter the union territory, an official said on Wednesday.
