A bird festival will be held at the Nandur-Madhyameshwar Bird Sanctuary in Nashik district of Maharashtra on March 5 and 6, a state Tourism official said on Tuesday. The bird festival is being organised by the Tourism Directorate and the State Forest Department, Nashik. Various programmes including a cyclothon, tour of the sanctuary, bird watching, seminars on various subjects, wildlife photography etc. will be held, Madhumati Sardesai-Rathod, Deputy Director, Tourism Directorate, Nashik, told reporters.

Malaysia and Thailand took the first steps towards fully reopening borders to tourism last week when they agreed to implement air, land and sea vaccination travel lanes to reboot tourism, reports TTR Weekly. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) will provide air traffic services at the upcoming Noida International Airport at Jewar in Greater Noida, reports Zee News. As per sources, the first phase is expected to be commissioned by 2024. An agreement to this effect was signed between the AAI and Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL) on February 28, AAI said.
