Workers were terminated last week on Wednesday, Bloomberg reported, citing the person who requested anonymity as the information hasn’t been announced to the public. IndiGo has reported a profit after nearly years due to increase in passenger traffic and yields in the December quarter. SpiceJet has offered to pay INR.600 crore in cash in the share transfer case with its former promoter, Kalanithi Maran and his firm KAL Airways for a full and final settlement of all disputes. The offer was made during the hearing in the Supreme Court yesterday. Oman witnessed a decline of 25.4% in number of visitors in 2021 compared to the year ago period. This drop is attributed to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. According to the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), as many as 652,000 people visited the Sultanate of Oman last year. Oman saw 874,444 visitors in 2020, 3,506,441 in 2019, which was 8.2 per cent more than the 2018 figure of 3,241,757. In its revised guidelines, the Ministry of Health has scrapped the mandatory seven-day home quarantine requirement effective February 14. The new guidelines say, passengers are required to self-monitor their health for 14 days after arrival and isolate in case they develop symptoms of Covid-19.
