The long-awaited demand for an airport in Bihar’s Purnia is set to become a reality, with all obstacles to its construction now cleared. An Airports Authority of India (AAI) team from Delhi recently conducted a comprehensive site survey, addressing all concerns related to the project. IndiGo will resume operations from Terminal 1 (T1) at the Delhi airport from September 2. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that Cochin International Airport is equipped to become the hub in South India for air operators.
