Kenya’s aviation union said it was calling a strike from early next week to demand the scrapping of a proposed deal with India’s Adani Airport Holdings to develop the east African country’s main airport. Travel Boutique Online (TBO Tek) reported a significant growth in its financial performance for the first quarter (Q1) of the fiscal year 2025. The company’s consolidated net profit rose by 29% to INR 60.91 crore, compared to INR 47.3 crore during the same period last year. Air India Express has launched six new daily direct flights in a single day, further strengthening its domestic network. The new flights operate on the Chennai-Bhubaneswar, Chennai-Bagdogra, Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram, Kolkata-Varanasi, Kolkata-Guwahati, and Guwahati-Jaipur sectors.
