In a major reshuffle, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has announced the appointment of Mugdha Sinha as Director General of Tourism. She has previously worked in the Ministries of Textiles, Industry and Commerce both at the Centre and in Rajasthan, her cadre state. She replaces Manisha Saxena. Mongolia attracted a total of 436,617 foreign tourists in the first seven months of this year, the country’s Ministry of Culture, Sport, Tourism and Youth reported on Monday.
