Malaysia is emerging as a premier MICE destination for Indian corporates, thanks to visa exemptions, direct connectivity, and diverse cultural experiences. In a strategic move, Thomas Cook India, in collaboration with Tourism Malaysia, hosted an exclusive corporate engagement event in Mumbai to showcase the country’s growing appeal for business events.
The high-impact event brought together over 30 CXOs and senior executives from leading multinational and Indian corporations across sectors like BFSI, pharma, electronics, and trade. It featured keynote addresses by Datuk Manoharan Periasamy, Director General of Tourism Malaysia, alongside senior officials from Tourism Malaysia and Thomas Cook India. Participants engaged in insightful presentations, networking sessions, and one-on-one discussions, highlighting Malaysia’s seamless connectivity and exceptional MICE infrastructure.
Gastronomy played a central role in the event, with a curated culinary experience blending Malaysian delicacies, Indian cuisine, and fusion flavors, creating an immersive cultural showcase. The event concluded on a high note, with corporate leaders expressing strong interest in choosing Malaysia for their MICE programs in 2025-26.
With its world-class venues, cultural richness, and business-friendly policies, Malaysia is positioning itself as the preferred MICE hub for Indian corporates.
