Travel Boutique Online (TBO) recorded a 29.1% year-on-year increase in revenue during the third quarter of FY25, while its profits remained flat, according to its unaudited consolidated financial statements sourced from the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
The company’s operating revenue rose to INR 422 crore in Q3 FY25, up from INR 327 crore in the same quarter last year. The surge was primarily driven by the hotels and packages segment, which contributed 79.8% of total revenue, increasing 44% year-on-year to INR 337 crore. Meanwhile, income from air ticketing and other allied services added INR 74 crore and INR 11 crore, respectively, to the firm’s top line.
Despite strong revenue growth, rising costs impacted profitability. Service fees associated with hotels and packages emerged as the largest cost component, accounting for 32.7% of total expenses at INR 126 crore in Q3 FY25. Employee benefit expenses stood at INR 100 crore, contributing to an overall 36.5% increase in total costs, which reached INR 385 crore, up from INR 282 crore in Q3 FY24.
As a result, net profit saw a marginal dip to INR 49.9 crore, down from INR 50.7 crore in Q3 FY24. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, the company’s bottom line declined by 16.8%, dropping from INR 60 crore in Q2 FY25.
Following the earnings report, TBO Tek’s stock rose by nearly 1%, closing at INR 1,638, with a market capitalisation of INR 17,786 crore.
