The UAE is set to invest in Kerala’s tourism, healthcare, food processing, and technology sectors, reinforcing economic ties with India. UAE Minister of Economy Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri highlighted this during the Invest Kerala Global Summit, emphasising sustainable growth and economic resilience.
The Sharaf Group, a UAE-based logistics giant, announced a INR 5,000 crore investment in Kerala, further solidifying bilateral economic cooperation. This aligns with the UAE’s 2025 theme, the ‘Year of Community.’
As part of this initiative, Marri participated in the ‘Year of Community Run’ in Kannur, promoting wellness and inclusivity. Organised by the North Malabar Chamber of Commerce, the event attracted over 1,000 participants, symbolising strengthened Indo-UAE relations.
